Mary Jane Wagner, 85 of Brownsburg, Indiana peacefully passed on May 3, 2021 with her beloved husband of 63 years, Ronnie Earl, at her side. They met in Jasper at a dance hall where she loved dancing the jitterbug. Mary Jane was born in Jasper, Indiana, on December 23, 1935 to Fidelis and Augusta (Reitman) Berg.
She moved to the west side of Indianapolis with Ron after his time in the US Army. There she raised her other four joys in life, her children. She worked as a payroll clerk for Union Carbide in Speedway, and Kroger administrative offices on the north side of Indianapolis.
She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was very proud of them and would tell anyone willing to listen. She enjoyed going on adventures with destinations unknown which always included a stop for lunch, watching “Price is Right” and the “Wheel of Fortune”, reading and crocheting blankets and kitchen towels to share with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Ruth McCormick (Oregon); her brother, Frank Berg (Warsaw); and her oldest son, Marcus James Wagner. She is survived by her husband, Ronald E. Wagner; her sister, Virginia Schnellenberger (Jasper); her children, Michelle (Fernando) Escobar of Zionsville; Marty (Denise) Wagner and Marla (Joe) Holbrook of Brownsburg; her grandchildren, Nicholas and Gabriel, Samantha and Allison, and Cassandra and Amanda, as well as multiple nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
