Steven Eugene Pearson

The following is an obituary written by Steven’s loving family.

Steven Eugene Pearson, 61 of Brownsburg, born on January 28, 1962, in Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away in his home on February 1, 2023.

Steve was a loving, thoughtful, funny, kind-hearted man. He loved life and lived it to the fullest! Steve loved spending time with his family, friends and his little buddy, Piper! He was compassionate and always willing to lend a helping hand.

Steve worked as a foreman at MPB Installation.  His hard work ethic inspired many.

Steve enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, racing and had a heart for all animals. His generosity and funny wit will be greatly missed.

He is survived by wife, Robin Pearson; daughter, Cathy Hampton; step-daughters, Karma (Brett) Lee, Tara (Josh) Kegeris; grandchildren, Madison Lee, Brayton Lee, Luke Kegeris, Marissa Lee, Anna Kegeris, Elijah Kegeris, Piper Platipodis, Levi Truitt, Shaylee Truitt, James Townsend; sisters, Pam (Rick) Wren; Tammy Bayne; and brother-in-law, Ronald Connelly.

Steve was preceded in death by parents William Braze and Marlene (Goebel) Pearson; daughter, Ashley Christ; brother, Randy Pearson; and sister-in-law, Sarah Connelly.

In addition to flowers, memorial donations can be made to an account set up for Piper Platidpodis.

Friends and family will gather at Eric M.D. Bell Funeral Home on Friday, February 10, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with the service celebrating Steve’s life beginning at 6:00 pm.
