Anniece Belma Bryson, formerly Anniece Wood, was born on June 1, 1935, in Jackson County. She peacefully passed away on September 11, 2023, in Danville, Indiana. A loving and compassionate individual, Anniece's warm and caring nature endeared her to everyone she met.
Anniece adored her family and found immense joy in being surrounded by their love. She cherished her childhood memories with her parents, Curtis Wood and Edith Hooper Wood, as well as her beloved siblings. The bond shared among them was unbreakable and filled with laughter, support, and enduring affection.
An embodiment of selflessness and compassion, Anniece had a deep-rooted desire to help others. She went out of her way to make a positive impact on people's lives, lifting their spirits and offering a helping hand whenever needed. Her kindness was genuine and heartfelt, leaving an indelible mark on the lives she touched.
In addition to her devotion to family and altruism, Anniece had a variety of passions that brought her profound joy. One of her favorite hobbies was making meals for her loved ones. She is survived by her loving sons, Scott Bryson and Greg Bryson (Cindy), who were the light of her life. Her grandson, Dakoda Bryson (Zoee), brought immeasurable joy into Anniece's world. She took delight in watching Dakoda grow into the remarkable person he became. Anniece also leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Cooper and Ellie, who brought immense happiness to her later years.
Today, we gather not only to mourn the loss of a remarkable woman but also to celebrate the beautiful life that Anniece Belma Bryson lived. Her kindness, love, and selflessness will forever remain etched in our hearts. Anniece's legacy serves as a reminder to live each day with compassion and to cherish the relationships that bring us joy and fulfillment. Funeral arrangements for Anniece were private in the care of Appalachian Funeral Services of Sylva, North Carolina. She will be laid to rest next to her loving husband, Richard, at Hamburg Cemetery, Glenville NC.
