Brenda E. Griffith, 62 of Indianapolis, formerly of Pittsboro and Lizton, passed away peacefully, in the loving care of her family, on March 4, 2018. She had a lengthy and courageous battle with Cancer, that she faced with dignity and strength.
Brenda was born, May 11, 1955 in Sullivan, Indiana to the late William and Catherine (Black) Griffith. She was a graduate of Ben Davis High School. She worked as a safety supervisor in the distribution field.
She is survived by a large and loving family which includes her children, Stephanie (husband Nate) Smith, Allen (wife Rachel) Griffith, and Jennifer (husband Matt) Hicks; brothers, Bruce Griffith and Mike (wife Brenda) Griffith; sister, Janice Keller; and grandchildren, Tucker, Blake, Amber, Mason and Braelynn.
Friends and family will gather from 5 pm until 7 pm, Thursday, March 8 in the David A. Hall Mortuary, where a Celebration of Brenda’s life will follow immediately at 7 pm. Private Cremation Inurment will occur at a later date.
The family requests, memorial gifts be made to the Colon Cancer Alliance.
