Brent was born September 2, 1972 in Danville, Indiana. He was a graduate of Tri-West High School in 1991. Brent spent most of his career as a maintenance technician.
Brent liked history and documentaries about history, especially the World War II era. He loved classic cars and had a wealth of mechanical knowledge, both automotive and building maintenance/construction. He could build, fix, or fabricate almost anything (He once built a log splitter from parts of a riding lawnmower). He was a talented artist with an intricate attention to detail that translated into everything he did or constructed. Brent’s storytelling and descriptive abilities were both unmatched and truly one-of-a-kind. His honesty, willingness to be vulnerable with people, and powerful loyalty to those he loved will live on in our memories.
Survivors include his parents, Steve (Mary) Dugan and Marialisa (Robert) Pippin; siblings, Rusty (Ashley) Dugan, Marcus (Tammy) Dugan, and Jennette (Ricky) Rowan; children, Daniel Dugan, formerly Cora, and Erin Dugan. He is preceded in death by his brother, Scott.
There will be a time of gathering for friends and family on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 10 am to 11 am, with the service beginning at 11 am. Brent will be laid to rest in New Maysville Cemetery following the service.
All are asked to keep the Dugan family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Those who would like to make a gift to the family to assist may do so in the form of a donation. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
