Charles Robert Hendricks, of Lebanon, IN, passed away July 27, 2024.

 Born February 28, 1940 in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was the son of Robert N. and Gladys (Scott) Hendricks. He was a 1958 graduate of Lizton High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1963 through 1965. He married the love of his life, Sue (Keeney) Hendricks, on August 14, 1971.

A longtime resident of Hendricks and Boone counties,Charles was co-owner of Hendricks Excavating and owner-manager of Elm Park Mobile Homes in Lebanon for many years, retiring in 2010.

Charles was a 63-year member and past master of Pittsboro Masonic Lodge 620, F & AM.; a 57-year member of the Frankfort York Rite Bodies; Past Patron and 53-year member of Pittsboro Chapter #416, O.E.S. and plural member of Whitestown Chapter #248, O.E.S. He was also a 51-year member of Lizton Lodge # 341, Knights of Pythias. Charles was President of the Lizton K of P Cemetery Association.

Preceded in death by his parents and brother, John E. Hendricks, he is survived by his wife, Sue K.Hendricks. Also surviving are five nieces and one nephew, several great - nieces and nephews and two great-great-nephews.

Masonic Graveside Services will be Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the K of P Cemetery in Lizton, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 8720 Castle Creek Parkway, East Drive. St., Suite #100, Indianapolis, IN 46250 or the charity of your choice.
