Deborah Duszynski of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away July 23, 2018. The Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 pm, August 3, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
Deb, daughter of late John Johnson and Patricia Jones, was born on August 4, 1952 in Indianapolis, IN. She attended Purdue University and met her husband, Eugene Duszynski, while they were working at US Airways. They were a "love at first sight" couple, wed on March 15, 1976 and were happily married until Gene's passing in 2000. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Noll, and sister, Lori Dishman. Deb, or “Debbie Mom”, was considered a mother to many and is survived by so many more “children” including Holly Dunn, Mitch Duszynski, Martha Duszynski, Kenneth Noll and all of their friends that “adopted” her as their own throughout her life.
She will be remembered for her love of travel, reading, genealogy, research and spending quality time with family and friends. Deb loved being part of the community and valued taking care of her friends and family as seen through her voluntary leadership roles in Girl Scouts of Central Indiana, Board President of her Homeowner’s Association, Mystery Book Club, Lady Aberdeen Travel Group, WFYI Public Broadcasting Station, Marion County Election Day Poll Worker and St. Michaels’ Church Bingo Hall.
Her laugh was contagious, her smile was warm, her friendship was genuine and her love will never be forgotten.
