Domenick Michael Fiorda,
93 of Danville, Indiana passed away peacefully August 21st, 2023 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1930.
Domenick is preceded in death by his parents, Pasquale and Mary (Parise) Fiorda; loving mother of his children, Dolores (Conroy) Fiorda; loving son, Michael Fiorda; grandsons, Benjamin and infants, Dylan and Andrew.
Domenick is survived by his loving companion Kendra Brady, 4 children; Deborah of Dana Point, California, Denise (John) Tamuts of Northfield, NJ, Victoria (Larry) Ball and son Vincent of Blacksburg, Virginia as well as 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, sister Amelia Register of Media, Pa. and 3 nephews.
Domenick faithfully served his country in the Navy from 1949-1952. He is the author of the book “Spirit Time”.
Dom was instrumental in forming a senior baseball league in Marco Island, Florida 20 years ago for 24 Players, The league has blossomed to well over 400 Players.
Dom was an Allstar shortstop till age 89 when he retired at the top of his game.
The family’s wish is that Dom be remembered as a fun loving spiritual guy with a zest for life and love for sun and sand. He was everybody’s friend.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted to Eric MD Bell funeral home and cremation services of Pittsboro, Indiana.
