Donald Leroy Fields

Donald Fields, of Pueblo, Colorado passed away, September 10, 2019.

Mr. Fields faithfully served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

Funeral Services will be held at 1pm, Monday, September 23, in the Funeral Home, where friends and family will gather from 11 am until the time of the funeral service. He will be laid to rest at West Ridge Cemetery, Indianapolis.

Arrangements are in the care of Eric MD Bell, Funeral Director.

On Thursday, Sept 10, 2019, at 12:35 a.m., Donald Leroy Fields went to be with the love of his life, Virginia Lee (Akers) Fields. At the age of 73, Don passed in Pueblo, Colorado, where he resided with his daughter since December of 2015.  He was born November 24,1945, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Kelly and Ethel Fields. He was raised in Martinsville and graduated from Martinsville High, Class of "1969".  He became a Marine and served in Vietnam.

He married Linda McGary in 1967, and had a son, Garrett, in 1970. He divorced in 1975 and enjoyed the single life until he met and married Virginia in 1984.  He retired from GM Allison Gas Turbine.

Don is survived by his brother, Ron (wife Sharon) Fields; his five sons, Gary, Don, Ray, Garrett, and Danny; and his daughter, Michelle.
