Donald R. Landreth 73 of Lizton, passed away peacefully, in Danville, IN, March 23, 2018.
Donald was born, March 24, 1944 in Mitchell, Indiana, and was a 1963 graduate of Campbellsburg High School. He was a Tool Cutter & Grinder for GM/Allison Engine Company. In addition to his work for Allison, he enjoyed and was extremely active in Shortwave Ham Radio.
Survivors include his loving wife of nearly 47 years, Debby Landreth; children, Donald R. (wife Brooke) Landreth, Jr. and Rhonda (husband Doug) Blakey; brothers, Robert, Ronnie (wife Connie) and Leland (wife Lisa) Booker; sister, Sally Shaffer; grandchildren, Gunnar, Ashley, and Hunter; and extended family, Carol, Lola and Steve.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Landreth and Kathleen Booker; and step-father, Lovell Booker.
The family suggests Memorial Gifts be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
Friends and family will gather from 4pm until 7pm in the David A. Hall Mortuary, 220 N. Maple Street, Pittsboro, IN, Monday, March 26, 2018. A Celebration of his life will immediately follow the visitation, at 7pm. Private family inurnment will follow at a later date.
