Dorothy “Rennie” Jones, 66 of Rockville, Indiana (Formerly of Brownsburg, IN), passed away Thursday November 7, 2024. She was born November 17, 1957 in Muncie, Indiana. She grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana and was a graduate of Brownsburg High School.
Rennie married her childhood sweetheart, Jerald “Jerry” Jones. Jerry and Rennie were mostly inseparable and when their kids were younger their house was filled with all kinds of people that were just like family.
She loved the beach, cooking, cruises, and camping. After she retired Jerry and Rennie loved being a part of the Parke County Community; having great relationships and friendships with their Amish neighbors. We hope when reading this you are reminded of the great memories of sharing the same space with Rennie that was often a meal shared with laughter and love. She has been a mom to many, a wife to one, a friend to even more, and she never met a stranger.
Rennie is survived by her husband, Jerald Jones, her boys Chris (Melissa) Jones, Phillip (Jennifer) Jones; grandchildren Iris, Kennady, Harper, and Cailynn; mother Sue Chambers; and siblings Peggie Chambers, Beth Spellman, Stephen Chambers, and Roxanne Moss. She was a loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother.
