Frances Reed

Frances Eileen Reed, 90 of Brownsburg, Indiana, passed away on March 28, 2024.  Frances was born on July 16, 1933, in Brazil, Indiana, to Fred and Lucy (Cooksey) Atkinson.  On September 23, 1950, she married Bud Reed, a loving union that would last until his passing in 1990.  She worked as a custodian for Brownsburg Middle School and was a member of Pittsboro United Methodist Church.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, sister, son, son-in-law, and granddaughter.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbie Reed Aiduks; her sons, William Stephen Reed, Michael Reed, Danny Reed, and Ted Reed; her brother, Gerald Atkinson; her 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The inurnment will be private in North Liberty Cemetery in Indianapolis.
