Geneve "Rae" Schenck

Geneve “Rae” Schenck, 87 of Pittsboro, IN, passed away peacefully in the care of her loving family on Thursday, August 8, 2019 in her home. She was born January 31, 1932 in Brownsburg, IN to Hobart Garret and Mary Pauline (Lingeman) Brady.

Rae married John Schenck in Brownsburg, IN on October 21, 1949, a loving union that would last until his passing on November 3, 2010.  She retired in 1998 from the State Bank of Lizton where she worked in the Trust Department. Rae was a long-time member of the Pittsboro Christian Church and had belonged to the Pittsboro OES (Eastern Star).

Survivors include Son, Jeffrey Joel (Patricia Tate) Schenck; daughters, Debra Kae Flowers, Bonita Sue (Randall) Duley; four grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson.

Friends and family will gather from 4 pm until 7pm, Friday, August 16, 2019 in the David A. Hall Mortuary, Pittsboro, IN, where funeral services will be held at 10 am, Saturday, August 17th. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Sparks Cemetery, Pittsboro.
