In 1980, Hazel went to work for Marriott at the Indianapolis International Airport. She retired in 1990, but that didn’t last long. Hazel loved to spend time with her family, the girls, grandchildren, and sitting on the porch with her grand dog, Maggie. She also a great cook and pie baker and loved to eat chocolate and peach candy. Hazel went almost every day to Flapjacks for lunch, where she made so many friends. A special thank you to Debra and her staff, they were so kind to Hazel.

Hazel was an avid basketball fan. She loved the Indiana Pacers, IU and Butler. Hazel and Dick had season tickets to the Pacers for many years. Hazel didn’t want to visit or talk when her teams were playing.
