Hazel L. Whitaker

HAZEL L. WHITAKER, age 81 of Pittsboro passed away May 4, 2017.

Hazel was born on September 21, 1935 in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of Andy and Mertie Miller. She married James M. Whitaker, Sr. on December 21, 1958 in Danville, IN. He preceded her in death on October 16, 2005.

Survivors: Son, Carl Wayne Shepherd; Daughters, Kathy Kelly, Darlene Daniels, Teresa Freije (Keith); 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. Hazel was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, and Son, James M. Whitaker, Jr.

Visitation will be held at David A. Hall Mortuary on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Service will be at 2 p.m. with Interment to follow at K of P Cemetery, Lizton, IN.
