Jack Lee McDaniel

April 18, 1941 — March 29, 2025

Lizton, Indiana

Jack L. McDaniel, 84, of Lizton, passed away on March 19, 2025. He was born April 18, 1941, to Roy “Fuzzy” and Mary “Mickey” McDaniel. Jack was the oldest of three boys:  Jack, David, and the late Thomas McDaniel. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Patricia; two sons, James Lee and his wife Charlene and Michael Alan and his wife Pamela; two granddaughters, Kelly Lynn and Melissa Lee; and great-granddaughter, Avery Grace; in addition to other family members and a multitude of friends.

Jack was a longtime member of the Lizton Christian Church having served as deacon, elder and chairman of the board.  Jack also was a little league coach, president of Lizton Little League and a former member and officer of the Union Township Volunteer Fire Department.

He retired as building facilitator for the Shuck Corporation in Indianapolis, Indiana.

One of his biggest thrills was when he was chosen to be grand marshal of the annual Lizton parade. One of his sons drove Jack’s bright yellow 1965 Ford convertible in the parade while throwing candy and softballs to the crowd.

Jack will be remembered for his work ethic and his dedication to the Lord, his family, and his many friends. He will long be remembered by those who love him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time
