Jacquelyn H. McClung, 89 of Brownsburg, formerly of Pittsboro, IN, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2024.  The following is an obituary written by her loving family.

Jacquelyn Hyten McClung was born on August 6, 1934, and died February 27, 2024.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurel McClung; her parents, Henry and Julia Hyten; her brothers, O.G. Hyten, Tim (Dorothy) Hyten, and Dave (Penny) Hyten; and her sister, Eloise (Robert) Waggoner.  She is survived by her daughter, Melanie McClung Sams; her son, Joseph (Michele) McClung; her grandchildren, Joseph Sams, Jeffrey Sams, and Ariana (Robert) McClung Geiger; her two great-grandsons, Cyrus Joseph Sams and Lincoln Joseph Geiger; and many nieces and nephews.

Jacquelyn's celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Boulder Creek Restaurant, 1551 State Road 267, Brownsburg, IN 46112.

Her family kindly requests no flowers or gifts, and instead memorial contributions may be made to Lockerbie Square Neighborhood through www.lockerbieneighborhood.org .

All are encouraged to keep the family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
