James Mendenhall

James E. Mendenhall peacefully passed away in his home on August 19, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.  James was born on November 30, 1961 to John and Josephine (Walton) Mendenhall.  He was the youngest of eight children and attended school at Bridgeport West Central Joint Services.  After graduating, he enjoyed life on the farm with his parents and brothers, raising grain hay and livestock.  His siblings include Jay Dee (Karen) Mendenhall, Bonolyn (Rick) Thomas, Jerald (Rhonda) Mendenhall, John Mendenhall, Brenda (Jeff) Fleece, and Barbara Leath.  He is preceded in death by his parents and his oldest brother, Wayne.  James is a very-much-loved uncle to 17 nieces and nephews, 47 great-nieces and nephews, and one great-great niece.  He greeted everyone he met with a smile and a handshake.

A private family service was held at New Winchester Cemetery on Sunday afternoon, August 21, 2022.
