Jo Ellen Gregg, 60 of Brownsburg, Indiana, peacefully passed away on August 10, 2020 with her loving daughter by her side at St. Vincent Hospice.  Jo was born on March 17, 1960 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Russell and Marcella (Moon) Morris.  She attended Ben Davis High School and was a loving stay at home mother.  She most recently was a cashier at Kroger for over eight years, which she enjoyed very much.

Jo is preceded in death by her mother and father as well as her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Morris.  She is survived by her beloved daughter, Mandy (husband Jason) Painter; her two brothers, Rex (wife Joy) Morris and James Morris; her two granddaughters, Lillian Anderson and Ella Painter; and her grandson, Vincent Painter.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 1 pm in Brownsburg Cemetery.  All are kindly asked to observe social distancing guidelines and wear a mask. A private celebration of Jo’s life will be held at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance at ocrahope.org.

Arrangements are entrusted to Eric M.D. Bell Funeral Home in Pittsboro, Indiana.  All are encouraged to share thoughts, prayers, and memories with Jo’s family on her memorial page found on www.ericmdbellfuneralhome.com.
