Keith Allen Fife, 50, of Pittsboro, Indiana passed away on December 29th, 2019. He was born to Gordon and Judy (Walker) Fife on April 5th, 1969 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He lived in Indianapolis most of his life.
On October 10th, 2010, he married Kelly Jasay from Little Rock, Arkansas. Keith and Kelly have resided in Pittsboro since their wedding. Keith worked for Enersys as a Battery Technician. He spent much of his career in the mobility industry, assisting `customers with illnesses or disabilities to become more mobile through the use of power chairs and lifts. He often remarked at how rewarding his work was, and he enjoyed helping others while earning a living. He has been a CAD draftsman, utility tech, and has worked in construction. Keith was skilled with his hands, and enjoyed putting his skills to work.
Keith’s passions were many. He was an avid motorcyclist, riding in many groups, including with many family members in the Fife TWSOF group (ask a member to explain) whom he inspired to ride. He was active in the 7CCRT (Civilian Crisis Response Team), whose mission is to give communities assistance during their times of greatest need. He was a gun enthusiast with a passion for preparedness, safety and training. He loved his pets, and he was gifted with training dogs, especially his beloved Duke, with whom he is now reunited. We are sure they have missed each other these many years.
Keith attended Nativity Catholic School, and graduated from Roncalli High School in 1987. He attended Vincennes University where he majored in CAD Design, and enjoyed using the detailed design skills he acquired there. Keith was always learning new skills, and was a guy you always went to for advice.
Keith is survived by his wife, Kelly (Jasay) Fife, his step-daughter Shelby Roose, and step-daughter Jessica (Kelham) Brooks (Eric), his parents Gordon and Judy Fife, his brother Kevin Fife and sister-in-law Debra (Orr) Fife, his niece Kristin (Fife) Swank (Michael), nephew Keagan Fife, and great nephew Aidin Swank.
