Kenneth D. Medlen, 70 of Danville, Indiana passed away peacefully, on November 2, 2024, in Danville at Hendricks Regional Hospital surrounded by loved ones.

 Kenny was born in Indianapolis on September 26, 1954, and was the son of late Carl and Jenny Medlen.

Kenny grew up in Pittsboro, graduating in 1973 from Pittsboro High School. Kenny worked at Coca-Cola for 45 years, retiring in 2019. After retirement Kenny enjoyed camping and traveling with his wife, Debbie. Kenny enjoyed watching sporting events. He also enjoyed spending time with his two dogs, Winston and Teddy, and a cat, Willie. 

 Kenny leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Debbie Medlen and his three daughters, Tonya (Jerry) O’Neill, Danville, IN, Sonya (Kevin) Lukes, Brownsburg, IN, andAshley (Shawn) Ludwick, Pittsboro IN; and six grandchildren, Hannah, Hailey, Ashton, Callie, Jalen and Isaac. He has one great-grandchild on the way. He is also survived by two sisters, Nancy (Gordon) Miller and Denise (Greg) Knight. 

 Kenny was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend and will be greatly missed. His family would like to thank all the medical staff at Hendricks Regional Hospital.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 4 pm to 7 pm, at Eric M.D. Bell Funeral Home.  The funeral service for Kenneth will be Friday, November 8, 2024, at 11 am, also at the funeral home.
