Linzie Price

LINZIE PRICE, 81, Indianapolis, passed away on August 9, 2016.

Born on September 1, 1934 in Sinking Valley, Kentucky the son of Lou Gene Price and Sophia Whitaker. He married Emma Faye Sears on May 18, 1956; she preceded him in death May 28, 2004. He married Beverly A. Pitman Bauman on April 23, 2005, who survives.

Linzie attended the Fellowship Baptist Church in Trafalger, IN. He was a member of the Lynhurst Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite, Indianapolis.

He retired from Bridgeport Brass in 1997 and was currently working in supervision for CVS in Franklin and Whiteland.

Survivors: wife, Beverly Bauman Price; daughters, Lisa Faye Price (Sandy Wheeler), Diana Law (Glen), Pamela Mitchell (Jim), Lisa Phillips (Mark); 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Linzie was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Emma Faye; son, Kevin; 2 brothers; 5 sisters and 1 grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 12 from 4 to 8 p.m., with a Masonic Service starting at 7 p.m. at G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home, 1605 S. S.R. 135, Greenwood, IN. Services will be on Saturday, August 13 at 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home with interment in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, IN.
