Lola M. Edwards

Below is a loving tribute from Mrs. Edwards’ family:

Lola Mae Edwards, 94, of Plainfield, passed away on Saturday, February 3rd. Lola was born on March 5, 1929, in Horse Cave, Kentucky, to the late Robert Gipson and Dora Jaggers Gipson.

Lola was married to Albert Edwards Sr, who preceded her in death.  Three of her sons also preceded her in death, Albert Edwards Jr. (Joyce) Lizton, David Edwards (Shari) Lizton,Larry Edwards, Morgantown, along with two grandchildren, Jeffrey Allen Edwards and Kristina Edwards and two daughters-in-law, Marilyn Jones Edwards and Judith Critchfield Edwards Stapleton.

Surviving children are Frank Edwards (Carol) Lizton, Janet Marsh (Dale) Avon, and Michael Edwards (Cindy) Brownsburg.

Lola is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. And numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 10th at 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 1 P.M. at Eric MD Bell Funeral Home located at 220 N Maple Street, Pittsboro, Indiana.  Lola will be laid to rest beside her husband, Albert, at K & P Cemetery in Lizton, Indiana.
