The following is an obituary written by Madonna's loving family.
Madonna C. Williams (MiMi), 84 of Pittsboro, Indiana, peacefully passed away on March 5, 2023, with her loving husband by her side. Donna was born on July 25, 1938, in Cleveland, Ohio, to William Thurl and Veronica (Broderick) Admire. On January 16, 1957, she married George Williams, a loving union that would last 66 years.
Her greatest treasure were her children and grandchildren. Donna had many occupations in her career, from working for the school board in Indianapolis, teaching kindergarten and also a realtor. She loved to sing and often sang in church and in children's ministries at her church.
After a lengthy illness, she is now in Heaven with her Lord and Savior. Donna held to her favorite verse 1 John 4:10, "In this is love, not that we love God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the expiation for our sins."
In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her sisters Marie Knose and Jean Goodnight and by her brother William.
Donna is survived by her loving husband, George Williams, her children, Cathy (Bob) King, Robert (Theresa) Williams, Beth (Roger) Bower and Timothy (Dawn) Williams and thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Lizton K of P Cemetery. Everyone is welcome.
