Marian Dolores Lanford
July 10, 1937 — August 22, 2017
Marian “Dolores” Lanford, 80 of Brownsburg, IN, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Brownsburg Meadows, surrounded by her loving family.
Dolores was born July 10, 1937 in Bloomington, IN to Walter and Josephine (Taylor) Bowman. She married the love her life, Allen Lea Lanford on April 16, 1955 a union that would last unbroken until the day of her passing. In addition to being a loving wife and mother, Dolores worked for AARP. Additionally, she and Lea were founding members of the Hope Community Church in Brownsburg, IN.
Together with her beloved husband, Lea, she is survived by her sons, Stuart (wife Jody), David (wife Pam) and Stephen (wife Sonya); sister, Vivian Bowman and six grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth and Louis Bowman.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, August 26 in her Church Home, Hope Community Church, where friends and family will gather from 11 am until the time of the Funeral Service. She will be laid to rest, following the service, in Lincoln Memory Gardens Cemetery, Whitestown.
