Mary E. Scott

MARY E. SCOTT, 94, of Pittsboro, IN passed away December 16, 2016.

Mary was born on February 15, 1922 the daughter of Carl and Mary "Dillon" Shirley. She married Russell "Scotty" Scott on May 13, 1944, and he preceded her in death on May 20, 1993.

Mary was a retired Teller from the State Bank of Lizton. She was a long time member of the Pittsboro Christian Church.

Survivors: Son, Jeffry A. Scott; Daughter, Cathy Vandivier; 2 Grandchildren, Scott D. Vandivier, Adam J. Scott; 3 Great Grandchildren, Owen D. Vandivier, Gavin M. Vandivier and Mary E. Scott.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 20 from 4 to 8 p.m. at David A. Hall Mortuary. Services will be December 21 at 10 a.m. at the Pittsboro Christian Church with interment to follow at K of P Cemetery, Lizton.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Pittsboro Christian Church.
