Misti L. Cameron

Misti L. Cameron, 44 of Brownsburg, Indiana passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, on June 30, 2023 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Misti was born February 15, 1979, in Indianapolis, Indiana.  She was the definition of a happy child.  Even as a childhood cancer survivor she was full of faith, hope, and joy.  As Misti would say, she prayed 24/7.  She talked to God about the smallest and the biggest of things.  She praised Him daily.

Misti graduated from Brownsburg High School in 1998.  She had two children that she loved with all of her heart, and she was overjoyed about her first grandchild on the way.  Misti loved spending time with her many nieces and nephews.  She was the self-proclaimed “fun one”, to which no one disagreed.  Misti was always a child at heart.  She was an artist and loved jewelry and purse making, ceramics, and scrapbooking.  She had the soul of a moon child and took pictures of the sunset and moon nightly.  Misti loved movies, often quoting funny lines at the most (in)opportune times.

Misti is survived by her children, Madilin Cameron and Milez Cameron; unborn grandson, Waylon Cameron; mother, Jackie (Shrum) Cameron; father, Joseph Cameron; sisters, Windi Kernodle and Megan Cameron; nephews, Clay Kernodle, Wade Kernodle, and Owen Clark; nieces, Lillian Clark, Amelia Clark, and Willow Clark; as well as many other family members including, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Ernest Jack Shrum, JD Cameron, and Jack Cooper; grandmothers, Exie Shrum, Joyce Shrum, and Bettina “Tina” Cooper; and uncles, Rick Burgess,Sr. And Jerry Cooper.

If you had the privilege of knowing Misti’s wacky, kindred spirit, we invite you to join us July 8, 2023, at Eric MD Bell Funeral Home to celebrate Misti’s life.  There will be a viewing from 11a-1p, with services at 1p and burial to follow at Bethesda Cemetery, Brownsburg, Indiana. Misti would ask that you come as you are with all your good vibes.
