Philip Earl Perry

Philip Earl Perry, 72, passed away on July 2, 2019 in Brownsburg, Indiana. He was a resident of Indianapolis.

Philip was born on November 4, 1946 in Indianapolis to Wendell Eugene and Dortha Faye (Legans) Perry.

He is survived by his children, Ed (Tonya) Perry, Ann Leaird, and Jennifer (Herbie) Blevins; step-daughters, Robin (Daniel) Senecal and Lori Barham; grandchildren, Rick (Lauren), Angelia, and PK Perry, Taylor (Blake) Swan, Jake, Annabelle, and Audra Leaird, and Carter and Perry Blevins; and great-grandchildren, Hope Leaird and Dean Swan. He is also survived by his sister, Margo Eremus. He is preceded in passing by an infant daughter, Stephanie Perry, his parents, and brother, Mike Perry.

Philip graduated from Franklin High School. He worked in Auto Sales. He retired from Hubler Chevrolet in 2013 after 25 years of dedicated service in their Fleet and Lease Department. Prior to his work at Hubler, he worked at Dave McIntire Chevrolet until 1988. In addition to his career and his love of family he was an avid IU Football fan and enjoyed his annual family fishing trip to the Northwoods of Wisconsin.

Philip’s family expresses their gratitude to the staff at Brownsburg Meadows and Anew Homecare Hospice for the care they provided during his final days.

A Celebration of Philip’s Life will be held at 5 pm, Wednesday, July 17, 2019 in the David Hall Mortuary in Pittsboro, Indiana, where friends and family will gather from 3pm until the time of the life celebration.

In lieu of flowers, Philip’s family suggests memorial contributions made to Anew Homecare (3830 E Southport Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46237) or to the Alzheimer’s Association at https://act.alz.org.
