Phyllis A. (Stamm) Gibbs

Phyllis A. Stamm Gibbs, 88 of Pittsboro, Indiana, peacefully passed away in her home with her loved ones by her side.

She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 8, 1935, to the late Harold O. Stamm and Mildred B. Kelly.

She was married to the late Casey J. Gibbs for 65 years.  They married on June 13, 1957.

Also preceding her in death are a brother, John "Jack" H. Stamm and a sister, Alice H. McCray.

She attended Grade Schools 53 and 67 and George Washington High School, Ivy Tech, and IBM Data Entry School.  She worked at Allison's Division GM Plants 3 and 5.  She retired from Pro Data in Brownsburg, Indiana.  She was and always will be very loved.

Survivors include her children, Elizabeth A. Sams (Robert Schwein), Holly Goodman, Patrick C. (Elizah) Gibbs, and Joseph K. (Melissa) Gibbs; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Eric M.D. Bell Funeral Home at 220 North Maple Street, Pittsboro, Indiana, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm.  Interment will follow at St. Malachy West Cemetery in Pittsboro, Indiana.
