Phyllis N. Jackson

Phyllis N. Jackson, 86 of Pittsboro, passed away peacefully, January 31, 2019 in Brownsburg, Indiana.

Phyllis was born December 22, 1932 in Hendricks County, IN to Leo and Hallie F. (Owens) Norman. She was a graduate of Lizton High School and on April 16, 1955 she was wed to Charles K. Jackon in Pittsboro, a loving union that would last until his passing on April 21, 1985.

Phyllis was active in the real estate field and was the owner and broker of Jackson Real Estate for many years, prior to her retirement. She had been a member of the Lizton Christian Church.

Survivors include her children, Dawn (husband Mike) Mustard of Bowling Green, IN and Kim McDonald of Brownsburg, IN; son-in-law, Lynn Love of Pittsboro; grandchildren, Brian (wife Krista) Hendricks, Amber (Husband Travis) Hoffa, Brittany (Husband Dan) Haffner, Tally (husband Robert) Hamilton, Dylan McDonald; and great-grandchildren, Holly (spouse Kelsy) Montgomery, Ivy Montgomery, Luke Haffner, Piper Haffner.

In addition to her husband, Phyllis was preceded in death by her daughter, Terry Lynn Love in 1989 and siblings, Tom Norman, James Norman, Leo Norman, Jr., Robert “Oscar” Norman, Eva Viehe, and Betty Wiley.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am, Monday, February 4, 2019 in the David A. Hall Mortuary, Pittsboro, IN.  She will be laid to rest in the Lizton KofP Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Gifts are encouraged to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
