On Monday, April 27, 2020, Randle (Randy) Linton, passed away suddenly. Randy was born September 20, 1959 in Lebanon, IN to Raymond and Carolyn Linton. He was a Transmission Technician on commercial vehicles for about 20 years. He then accepted a position as a Service Engineer with Allison Transmission where he worked until the time of his passing. He was a proud father and passionate woodworker. He also took great joy in restoring his '65 Plymouth Barracuda. He was always willing to help anyone who needed it, and he will be greatly missed by those who loved him. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Raymond; his mother, Carolyn; and his sister, Debbie. He is survived by his daughter, Katie (husband Bruce); his sister, Donna Graham; his brother, Joe (wife Arla) Linton; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held on Monday, May 4, 2020 at 11 am at Old Union Cemetery in Jamestown, IN. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, guests will be invited to process by and visit while remaining in their vehicles from 10:30 am until 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of funeral director, Eric MD Bell, of Pittsboro, IN. All are encouraged to keep the family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
