Visitation will take place at Eric M.D. Bell Funeral Home and Cremation Services (220 N Maple St. Pittsboro, IN) on Friday, January 26th from 12-1pm, with a Prayer Service immediately following.

Raymond Eugene Clift Jr. born September 26, 1946 peacefully passed away on January 19, 2024 at home with family by his side.  Raymond was a graduate of Indiana University.  Ray was an educator for over 40 years with IPS and Walker Career Center in Warren Township.  He taught middle school science, elementary physical education, health and drivers education.  In addition he coached soccer, basketball, football and track.  Ray’s true passion in life was bass fishing.  He was a professional fisherman for 45 years fishing in numerous tournaments both locally and out of state.  He was also a lifetime member of the Indiana Bass Federation.  He is survived by his wife Penny (Christoff) Clift, daughter Lisa (Brad) Taylor, son Justin Clift, grandchildren Ali Kay Ann Clift, Colton Raymond Clift, sister Carolyn Habeck, nieces Claudine Hiott, Angelika Habeck Thompson, and nephews Todd and Jeff Daugherty.  He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Rosalie Clift and sister Jane Daugherty.  Memorial contributions in Ray’s honor may be made to The Glioblastoma Foundation (www.glioblastomafoundation.org) or The American Brain Tumor Association (www.abta.org)
