Richard Hiatt Swain

RICHARD HIATT SWAIN, age 90, passed away on January 19, 2017.

Richard was born on February 13, 1926 in Muskogee, Oklahoma the son of the late Charles Oscar and Martha Helen (Hiatt) Swain. He married Grace Eileen Rodgers in San Diego, California, and she preceded him in death in 2011.

Richard was an Inspector for Allison Transmission, retiring in 1991.

Survivors include Sons, Richard E. Swain (Amy), Thomas A. Swain (Sandy), Jeffrey L. Swain (Suzette); Daughters, Janice E. Hedge (Jimmy), Marilyn L. Brown (William); Brother, David O. Swain (Linda); Sister, Carolyn A. Woods (William), 15 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren. Richard was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, and a Brother.

Visitation will be Monday, January 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the Service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at K of P Cemetery following the Service.
