Scott Edward Herald

Scott Edward Herald, 61 of Pittsboro, Indiana, peacefully passed away on June 28, 2022, in his home with his loving family by his side.  Scott was born May 11, 1961 in Indianapolis to Cecil Herald and Helen Herald-Jamieson.  Scott attended Brownsburg High School.  He joined the Navy in 1978 and was honorably discharged in 1982.  He was an employee of Citizens Thermal Energy Group for 26 years.  Scott enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and his grandchildren.  He loved to ride his Harley Davidson and travel.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Herald and Helen Herald-Jamieson; his son, Matthew Scott Herald; and his brother, Greg Jamieson.  He is survived by his loving wife, Ellen Herald; his daughter, Melissa Harpold; his three grandchildren, Austin Herald, Sara Harpold, and Kayden Scott Harpold; his brother, Doug (wife Sandy) Herald; his sister, Vicki (husband Mark) Endicott; as well as his many cousins and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service with military honors for Scott will be held privately.
