Shelby Gene Murphy

SHELBY GENE MURPHY, age 73 of Pittsboro, Indiana passed away May 4, 2017.

He was born on June 28, 1943 in Liberty, Kentucky to the late Anderson Earl and Opal Lee (Emerson) Murphy. He married Tonya (Wallen) Murphy on October 25, 1986 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Mr. Murphy served in the US Army in Vietnam. He retired from Shield-Sexton as a Carpenter.

Survivors are his wife, Tonya (Wallen) Murphy; Daughter, Kimberly Ann Dawn Justice (Steven); Sisters, Barbara Kay Morgan, Peggy Whitaker; 5 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild.

Visitation will be at David A. Hall Mortuary on Sunday, May 7 from 5 to 7 p.m. with the Service to follow at 7 p.m.
