Sue Carol (Cowan) Young

The following is an obituary written by Sue's loving family.

Sue Carol Cowan Young age 82, of Brownsburg Indiana went to be with the Lord and Savior on Sunday March 26th at her home. She was born in Connersville, Indiana on February 13, 1941. A proud graduate of Somerset High School class of 1959.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Young, who passed just two weeks earlier at their residence.  She was also preceded by one son, David Mize; her father, Lee Estle Cowan; stepmother, Hettie Cowan; and mother, Wilma Jean Bennet; and stepson, Robert Young.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Mize and daughter, Becky Beddow; two stepsons, Terry and (Kim) Young and Scott Young; granddaughter, Jessica and (Jeremy) Linn with their children Jamison and Jaylee Linn; granddaughter, Taylor and (Michael) Switzer and their children Caden, Haylee, Hayden, Luke, Wyatt and Laurajane Switzer, all of Indiana; two brothers, Steve and (Debbie) Cowan of Eubank, KY and Bruce Cowan of Science Hill, KY; one sister, Patsy Hudson of Indiana; a special neighbor, Judy Wernsman; as well as a host of cousins, nieces and nephews to mourn her passing.

Sue loved visiting KY where she lived for several years. She loved her family and pets dearly.  Her grandchildren brought her great pride and enjoyment.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date at Hope Community Church in Brownsburg, IN.
