Taylor Madison Cook, 30, passed away suddenly on March 17, 2023. Taylor was born on February 15, 1993, in Danville, Indiana, to Brad Cook and Ginny (Wilson) Clark. She graduated in the class of 2012 from Tri-West High School. Taylor went on to work as a server in the restaurant industry for multiple establishments.
When not working, Taylor loved to be outdoors; she especially enjoyed boating with her dad and brothers. Shopping trips with her mom, spending time with her nephew, Henry, bonfires with friends and family, and doing her hair and make-up were all things Taylor enjoyed. With an artistic and creative sense, Taylor loved to get dolled up. She was the selfie queen and loved to take photos with everyone. If you knew Taylor, you knew she was going to ride shotgun and play every single song; she loved music. Taylor loved a good fountain Mountain Dew and a trip to the gas station to get the candy or snack she was craving.
One who loved deeply and forgave fast, Taylor had a very big heart. She was also known to be incredibly stubborn and headstrong, but only in the best way possible. Taylor was incredibly generous, loyal to a fault, and a faithful Christian. A textbook empath, Taylor couldn’t stand to see others hurting or sad. Taylor will be remembered as a protective and motherly big sister, daughter, and friend. Her breathtakingly beautiful, independent, and strong-willed spirit will be terribly missed by all who had the chance to know and love her.
Survivors include her father, Brad Cook; her mother and stepfather, Ginny and Kevin Clark; her brothers, Kyle Cook (Payton Williams), Wesley Cook, and Waylen Cook; her stepsiblings, Jacque Swails (Jeremy), Austin Sellars, Garrett Clark, and Emma Clark; her nephew, Henry Cook; her canine companion who was known as her own child, Ozzy; her step-grandfather, Randy Waggoner; several aunts and uncles, cousins, extended family members, and numerous friends.
Taylor was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Greg and Pam Cook, and maternal grandparents, Terry and Ann Wilson.
