Wayne Anthony Lambdin, 38 of Pittsboro, passed away unexpectedly, January 11, 2019 in his home.
Wayne was born, July 8, 1980 in Farmington Hills, Michigan to Chester Wayne and Darlene Lambdin. He courageously served his country in the United States Army where he was a Combat Medic. Wayne’s service and sacrifice led to him becoming a fully disabled Veteran.
He was a Legionnaire and Son of the Brownsburg American Legion #331. He was a member of the Brownsburg VFW #6128, the Forty & Eight, and the Indiana Volunteer Militia. He was a passionate Detroit Lions , Tigers, and Redwings Fan, was involved in Civil War Re-Enactment, was a true history buff, and truly loved the United States of America.
On July 16, 2010 he married the love of his life, Kimberly (Gottschalk), a strong Christian marriage that would endure until his untimely passing.
In addition to his loving wife and mother, Wayne is survived by his children, Taylor and Dannica Morrell and Noah, Chet D. and LoraMay Lambdin.
He was preceded in death by his father and brother, David Lambdin.
Private Committal Services with full Military Honors will be held at the Sparks Cemetery in Pittsboro, IN. A Memorial Celebration of his Life Gathering will be held at the Brownsburg American Legion, Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 12pm until 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Gifts are encouraged to be directed to the family, C/O the David A. Hall Mortuary.
