William J. Dwyer 81, of Carmel, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on November 4, 2021, at his home.
He was born May 27, 1940, in Chicago, IL to Landin and Jean (Leonard) Dwyer, he worked his entire career in the logistics industry, beginning with the railroad and continuing in the freight industry.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Melodee (Stevenson) Dwyer; daughter, Jennifer (Dwyer) Clouser; and sisters, Mary Alice Sloat and Joan Dwyer.
William is survived by his daughters, Laura Dwyer, Carolyn Dwyer, and Barbara (husband Matt) Clouser; brothers, Jack Dwyer, Chuck Dwyer, Richard Dwyer, and Edward Dwyer; sisters, Patricia Maxwell, and Ellen Curran; grandchildren, Stephanie (husband Eric) Curry, Chase Clouser, Ethan Clouser, and Sydney Clouser, and great-grandchildren, Griffin, Olivia, Landin, and Camille
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 10655 Haverstick Road, Carmel, Indiana 46033. Where friends and family will gather from 9:30 am until the time of the Mass. He will be inurned alongside his wife at a later date.
