William R. "Ronnie" Love

William Ronald Love, 73, of Pittsboro, Indiana passed away peacefully, March 26, 2022 in Indianapolis, Indiana, with his family by his side.  He had a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer for 14 months.

Ronnie was born on January 29, 1949 in Fountain Head, Tennessee to Bailey Love and Verna (King) Love.  He graduated from Pittsboro High School in 1967.  He married his loving wife of 52 years, Brenda (Hendricks) Love, who survives him.  Together they had two children, Jason (Breana) Love and Shari (Ron) Cloud.  They were blessed with six grandchildren, Madalyn (Matt Chappelow) Cloud, Ashton Cloud, Bailey Love, Corben Cloud, Jalynn Love and Jocelyn Love.  He is also survived by his siblings, James (Diana) Love, Betty (Jim) Kirk, Roger (Karen) Love, Charlie Love and Jerry (Karen) Love, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Carolyn Love.

He was a man of many talents.  He started his career at a young age drywalling, farming and managing Pittsboro Feed and Grain.  He finished his career as a Union Carpenter of 30 years.  He went on to enjoy his retirement going to Florida during the winter, helping his brother farm, and spending time at the campground.  He was a great husband and father but being a grandfather was his pride and joy.  He was a man that would lend a hand for anyone and never ask for anything in return.

Friends and family will gather at the funeral home on Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 11 am until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 1 pm.
